In the last several months, Instagram has received a lot of buzz for their $1 Billion buy-out. While many were baffled by the huge sum of money (including myself), it appears that Instagram is slowly becoming a bonafide platform for spreading brand culture and increasing consumer engagement. According to a recent study, 7.3 Million people use the photo-sharing app every day. Furthermore, Instagram now has over 100 Million registered users and over 80 Million followers. Apparently Zuckerberg and fellow Facebook executives had the right idea after all.
